Based on 60 respondents, all respondents are valid to use for further analysis. This study assessed the localizing sustainable development of performance quality on Maybank. All the data from the questionnaire that is valid has been transferred into the SPSS software (Statistical Package for Social Science) for further analysis. The version we used was SPSS Statistic 28.0.
Descriptive Statistic Analysis Data for Demographic Statistic
Descriptive statistics (frequencies) were obtained to gather information for demographics (Question 1 to 5) based on gender, age, race, income level and why the respondents open a Maybank account in the first place. The frequency for each demographic characteristic is displayed in the following section.
Descriptive Statistics Analysis: Demographics/Personal Characteristics
1. Gender
The majority of the respondents are female with a percentage of 61.7% (n=37) and male at 38.3% (n=23).
2. Age
Data from the descriptive statistics shows that the majority of the of the respondents are within the age group 21-25 years old 73.3% (n=44), followed by 31 years old and above at 13.3% (n=8), 20 years old and below at 6.7% (n=4), and lastly is 26-30 years old at 6.7% (n=4).
3. Race
All the respondents are Malay with percentage of 100% (n=60).
4. Income Level
Most of the respondents’ income level is less than RM2000 with a percentage of 75% (n=45), followed by RM2000-RM5000 of income level with a percentage of 20% (n=12), and lastly is income level of RM5000 and above with a percentage of 5.0% (n=3).
5. Why did respondents open a Maybank account in the first place?
The majority of respondents open a Maybank account is for savings with a percentage of 50.0% (n=30), followed by bank entry salary with a percentage of 30.0% (n=18), followed by student allowance with a percentage of 13.0% (n=8), and lastly is shopping with a percentage of 6.7% (n=4).
